I just drove to Michigan, so here's some of the photos I took of different places I stopped. This was a cute rest area in Conway Missouri where there were little replicas of shops and hotels along Route 66. Most of the first two days were along Route 66 (now Interstate 40).
◎The Divorce Ranch
I still have to sort through my pictures of the first day of the trip, but I found some interesting photos I took of Tule Springs Park near my house. Tule Springs Park used to be a "divorce ranch" where people would stay while they applied for a quick divorce in Nevada. I think a divorce in Las Vegas takes a week, so people would stay in these ranches while they were waiting for the divorce to become final. Now it's a park with horses, peacocks, ducks, and a fishing pond.
