ChatGPTのVoice Chat検証の延長線として、筆者が洋楽を歌い、その歌のタイトルをChatGPTに答えさせる実験を行った。

　人は、若き頃の筆者もそうであったが、趣味の領域では、水を得た魚のように生き生きとしており、元気溌剌としたオーラが漂っていた。

　ところが、目の前の仕事となれば、失敗が許されぬ仕事へのプレッシャーや周囲の人間関係にて、心身ともに日々疲弊することが多く、いつの日か、突然もがき苦しみ、耐えるに耐えれぬ状況下に置かれてしまう。

　メンタル面はとても大切なものであり、特に、仕事面では仕事内容そのものよりも、周囲の人間関係の方が毒性が強く、恫喝など言葉の暴力に潰され、自らの異変に気づいた時は、相当なダメージを喰らっているのである。

　仕事を仕事と思うからこそ、日頃の上下関係が頭から離れず、冗談混じりの嫌がらせを真に受けて仕事に集中できず、心と身体のバランスを崩しがちとなる。パワハラやセクハラは朝飯前のように行われていた時代の名残である。

　そこで、仕事は趣味であると思えば、仕事自体のプレッシャーからは解放され、考えようでは不完全な仕事を完全なるものへと動かすことに生き甲斐を感じるようになってくる。よって、周囲の心無い人の嫌がらせや揶揄など、全く気になることもない。

　面白いもので、仏頂面の上司でも、会社経営者たちでも、若き頃は同様の悩みに直面し、もがき苦しんだはずだ。その修行の過程において、処世術にてパスしてきた人間だけが、長年の間、会社に居座ることになる。

　人というものは、どうしても他者と比較をすることで、自らの優位性を重んじるがあまり、無意味に敵対心を持ったり、他者を陥れたり、モラルなき、仁義なき戦いをしている。大変ご苦労なことである。

　国内、津々浦々、数ある企業や教育関係、医療関係など、修羅場と言われるような環境は無数に存在している。勿論、パワハラやセクハラ事件が多発する中でも、平然と罪を犯す心無い人が、今も尚、暗躍しているのも事実。しかしながら、事件になるのは氷山の一角である。

　仕事は、趣味である。趣味を楽しみ、休むために働くのではなく、働くために休むことが必要だ。心身ともに疲弊している自分に気づいた時は、無理をせず、堂々と休暇を取り、崩れたバランスを微調整することをオススメしたい。

　最後に、言葉は適切ではないと思われるが、一言、物申しておきたい。

　「叱責されようが、揶揄されようが、仕事で失敗しようが、絶対に死ぬことはない。」のだから、自らのリズムを崩さず、「Going my way.」ならず、協調性を保ちながらも「強引にマイウェイ！」で、社会人として充実した日々を楽しんで頂ければと・・・。
