Taiwan is really full of delicious food. No matter from high class restaurants to normal stores, there are always many tasty cuisines that make you can't help to get one bite!
Recently I found one fast food chain store like McDonald's. The chain store is called "21 Century". It is famous for its fried and roast chicken. Apart from its chicken, there is another special point of 21 Century, which is that the store decoration is Mediterranean Sea style. Can you imagine eating fast food in a store decorated with Mediterranean Sea style? For me, it is so special and in fact, I think it is quite a good experience eating there. Though the store isn't built on the mountain, but at least you can feel a little about the Mediterranean Sea style like Italians, Spanish or Greeks.
Most important of all, we have to feed our stomach with its chicken. After eating its chicken, I want to recommend you eat it up! Though not that good compared to high class restaurant, it is still good enough for us. The chicken meat is fresh and tender. While you see the juice of chicken flowing out from inside, you must want to take a bite of it! So I guess you can imagine how delicious the chicken is. Eating the chicken and with such nice environment full of Mediterranean Sea, it's wonderful. Close your eyes and imagine yourself being in Mediterranean Sea area! That's a good way of enjoying life!
I've talked too much about the restaurant style and atmosphere, now I think I have to focus on its cuisine and introduce some nice, tasty food. As mentioned before, 21 Century is famous for its roast chicken and fried chicken. Most dishes in the menu is just like McDonald's. Fried chicken, french fries, and hamburgers are a "must". 21 Century has two different dishes from McDonald's. That is, "roast chicken" and "meal set with Indian fried rice". These two are very very different from normal fast food stores' menus. They do well and the specialty makes 21 Century distinguished from normal fast food restaurants. If you have time or get an opportunity to visit Taiwan, I suggest you visit 21 Century this different style of decoration and dishes!
By the way, the store is created by one very powerful and famous enterprise in Taiwan, Uni-President. The enterprise is related to 7-11 convenience stores, so you know how big, powerful and influential it is. I have to say the leader of the enterprise is quite smart and create such good fast food restaurant with special style, Mediterranean Sea! Come to visit Taiwan and go back with smile!
